Most of olive trees are located in Spain, Italia, Tunisia, Greece and in south of France. They dot Mediterranean basin.
This type of olives is named after the Arbeca, a region of Catalogne, north-west of Barcelona.
The Arbequine is harvested as soon as she turned green and became smooth and shiny. Its fruits are little dark brown and green olives. The Arbequine is mainly used for oil manufacturing. When it’s harvested early enough, it has a low acidity rate and a fruity character.
